    Description

    1883 Trade Dollar PCGS PR-67
    A beautifully toned and virtually flawless example of this scarce proof-only Trade Dollar. Vibrant lavender and blue surrounds a bright core on the obverse while a frosted white eagle is set against flashy champagne-gold on the reverse. The strike is needle-sharp and the fields are deeply mirrored. Frost on the design elements and contrast between the field and devices suggest a Cameo designation was barely missed. Just 979 minted and none have graded finer at PCGS.
