The Polyester Roundsling are super strong and lightweight making them ideal for suspension of stage, aerialist, sound, and lighting equipment. The slings will conform to the shape of load, gripping it securely. The black polyester helps the sling blend to its surroundings and the polyester limits scratching of surfaces.
These roundslings are rated for over 10,000 lbs when rigged in a basket pattern. They are easy to use and extremely safe. Although heavier and bulkier than sling loops they hold up against friction much better and are always recommended if you are rigging over steel. The best in theatrical and aerial rigging solutions. The roundslings, sometimes called span-sets, are a neccessity for any aerialist looking to rig in multiple venues.
The roundsling is an endless synthetic sling made from a skein of polyester yarn covered by a double-wall tubular jacket. The roundsling body can be compared to sling webbing with the tubular jacket face yarns woven without binder yarns. This allows the core yarns to move independently within the jacket.
