    Description

For sale is an image of a Rabbi studying printed on postcard stock. THe card is signed by the artist in the upper right and lower right of the image - my eyes are not good enough to read the names.
The image was published in Vienna by the house of BKWI which is an abbreviation for Bruder Kohn Wiener Institute, prominent Jewish dealers and postcard publishers during the first part of the 20th century.. Among many topics, they published a large number of cards with Jewish themes.
THe house was shuttered after the Anschluss and at least one of the brothers was deported to Theresienstadt.
