Brand New replacement hygroscopic discs for Toro Rain Sensors.   If your Toro Rain Sensor is not working well, the likely cause is that your discs have weathered over time and are not functioning properly anymore.  Instead of throwing away the entire sensor, just remove the spindle and cap and replace the worn out discs with these 8 new ones.
The way this rain sensor works is that when rain hits these discs, they expand and push a switch off that is connected to the controller.  When it stops raining and the discs dry out, they contract back to the original size and release the switch.   If these discs get excessively dirty, are more than 4 years old, or have bugs living in and around them, they might not function properly.  This is a simple tool free fix that should take no more than 5 minutes.
This auction contains enough discs to repair one, two, or three Toro rain sensors.
These discs are from a different manufacturer from the discs that Toro used.  The thickness, inner diameter, and outer diameter of the discs are identical to the Original Toro discs.   I have done testing of the thickness of these discs before wetting, after wetting, and after drying out to make sure that the sensor will perform the same as it did when it was brand new.   These replacement discs are high quality OEM hygroscopic discs from another manufacturer of irrigation rain sensors.
