An almost new condition vintage mini starter that was produced in the 70’s by famous electric motor manufacturer Astro flight, its prime intended use was to aid starting the high revving small Cox engines and it fulfills this role very well.
It’s lightweight and easy to handle with positive contact to the standard small Cox spinner commonly found in most 0.10/0.20/0.49 engines… it is also powerful enough to handle the .09 Medallions etc. but I would not recommend for larger engines.
My particular starter is in top overall condition as i had another one for actual field use and this kept only for bench testing/breaking in various Cox engines so has very limited actual run time… motor has zero end play on the shaft and runs totally concentric which is very important to minimize vibration transmitted at the engine shaft/front crankcase while starting.
The top located switch is smooth in operation and making reliable positive contact every time, a good quality 12V battery is required with possible use of a 3S lipo of 1800-2500Mah capacity.
Its ABS sturdy case is a two part modular unit that uses four Allen head screws so easy to separate the two halves and servicing/lubricating the motor bushings if ever needed…with the limited use of my particular starter this will probably never be needed, nevertheless I supply the required Allen key.
Have taken twelve detailed photos so you can judge the quality of the starter… if you require I can send more details…rubber insert is as good as new and not hardened  with age as many rubber inserts do so will engage to your spinner without making marks.
Will ship this outstanding mini starter in a sturdy double flute box… first it will be individually wrapped first in plastic foil and then with many layers of bubble wrap to immobile and protect inside the box…  an external layer of heavy gauge brown warping paper completes the packaging procedure.
I have already/extensively used this method to ship my engines as it really ensures safe international travel to your destination… will also send you numerous photos of the packaging procedure stages so you have a clear idea on how to properly unpack.

Upon delivery of your package please check thoroughly its condition before accepting it, if you detect serious external damage take some clear photos of it and declare this damage to the delivery officer simultaneously postponing its acceptance for a few days.
Immediately contact me describing the damage in detail and provide me with your photos, I will evaluate the extent of the damage and advise you on how to proceed.
Since I have personally prepared the package I can judge of its integrity and so if I advise you to finally accept it I take full responsibility of the integrity of its contents and value.
Rest assured that superficial dents and scratches even of 3/8 of an inch depth cannot do damage to my multilayered packaging procedure and you can right away accept your package if the damage is limited to only that extent.
If I judge by your description and photos that the damage is very serious I will advise that you officially declare the parcel “unaccepted due to shipping damage” additionally please get a “denied acceptance document “ from your local shipping agent.
The package will be returned to me and I will immediately refund the total amount to you after I have received it back in its original package.
