VINTAGE UNION 36 SPECIAL WEAVING LOOM / BOONVILLE N.Y.

Description

Up for sale is a vintage Union Special 36 weaving loom manufactured by the Union Works Inc. in Boonville, N.Y. I've stripped and sealed it with Tung oil due to the fact that when I got it, it had been spray painted at one time. The reed is in good shape with little rust and just a few slightly bent dents. Just from normal wear. It is a 12  dent reed. I put new tan duct tape around the old paper edges of the reed (top and bottom) because there wasn't much paper left and falling off. The heddles are not new and slightly rusty and may need  some cleaning if you desire but in fairly good shape and it has many. It also has its metal handle for the back warp beam. I haven't  used it since I cleaned it up. Please check pictures for further description. This is pick up only, no shipping. Possibly we could meet in route if it would not be to far for me to drive. I would almost prefer it that way. It will fit complete in the back of a pickup truck.  I can take it apart somewhat to make it easier to transport but please let me know pryor to end of listing if possible.
